Monday Tekkit-Oct. 22, 2012

Welp, I missed a Sips N' Sjin episode from yesterday, but I'll just summarize them both today. The good ol' boys make their basement all nice and pretty. Sips finds a pretty cool spot and tries to tame a cat with his mining laser. They also explore a crevice and tunnel back to their secret base :).

Then Lewis, Simon, and Duncan come. Simon has big plans for the cafes and plans are made to make actual jaffas. They find a Sips in their factory, and Simon uses his head to trick the said Sips. Sips is also looking for Sjin who has been missing for a while. Hope that guy is found soon.

Well hello friends. A rather slow day for Tekkit as there was only one episode from the Yogscast family today. It came from Duncan. He prepares to go on the arduous journey of making Quantum armor. To do this, he shows us him making a mass fabricator and all of that scrap finally comes into use.

Friday Tekkit-Oct. 19, 2012

Welp, I missed a couple days, but I'm back. First up is Rythian and Zoey (and Nilesy). Nilesy gets to work on their pool while Rythian makes some gem armor. About half way through, Zoey remembers a prior engagement and drags Rythian and Nilesy along. They get creeped out by Zoey.

Then Sips 'N Sjin uploaded a Tekkit episode. They decide to leave their compound due to all of the invasions to set up some secret facilities far away. I don't know where they're going with this, but it seems like a promising storyline :).

Finally, Hannah uploaded a Tekkit episode. In this episode she shows off the progress she made over the past two weeks. She then goes on to make an airship harbor. Hannah is a very good builder :). She also makes some windmills.

Tuesday Tekkit-Oct. 16, 2012

Sips 'N Sjin uploaded a Tekkit episode today (shocking since their schedule doesn't include Tuesdays, but hey I'm not complaining). Sjin continues to work on the infinite lava machine since it's not working properly. Sips makes a new machine to help with building the factory, and they talk of who they're going to leave SipsCo to if they both should perish.

Then Duncan uploaded a Tekkit today. He shows off his ridiculous amounts of red and dark matter (not quite on Rythian level yet). He then proceeds to make the red matter tools and gets more wizardy by the second :P. I think this episode proves that Duncan is the most knowledgeable in Tekkit out of all the Yogscast. He knows science AND magic!

Okay guys. This was probably one the best days of Tekkit I've watched. I am dead serious. First up Sips and Sjin. They work out the kinks of their thermopiles, and Sips plans a secret door which of course leads them into a conversation about Narnia, Aslan, and the Wizard of Oz. It's just fantastic. So don't sneeze your pants off because this episode is great!

Tekkit 52, BlueXephos, 14 October 2012. Mark that down in your journal kiddos because history was made today :P. Just kidding of course, but this episode was one of their best of all time. It starts off with Simon serving his hungry customers and cuts to a showdown with Duncan, Lewis, Simon, and the giant head. They of course can't keep their composure which makes it 500 times better. I've watched this episode about 5 times now. Go watch it. Now.

Although there was only two episodes of Tekkit uploaded from the Yogscast family, it was probably the best day I've witnessed since I started watching in late July. Oh and Nilesy said his Tekkit won't continue until the end of the month which is a downer. I can't wait for it to start up. Hannah said she didn't upload a Tekkit on Friday because of her busy uploading schedule. She said she'll compensate for this wtih a longer episode next week :). Until tomorrow!

Saturday (& Friday) Tekkit-Oct. 13 (& 12), 2012

Well for Friday, Rythian and Zoey seek out the best Poolman in the land for construction of their pool. They instead get Nilesy :P. Just kidding, I'm sure Nilesy will do great after seeing Zyluss and Daltos' pool. Anyway, Nilesy gets a tour of the castle which still needs a name.

Welp, there was only one episode of Tekkit today from Lewis, Simon, and Duncan. Simon makes more babby pigs while Sips talks nonsense to him and Sjin doesn't talk at all. Simon also creates a little Tiki-Bar as Lewis and Duncan prepare to visit Pig Island.

It seems that a lot of people are disinterested in the Pig Island storyline. It will be interesting to see how the storyline responds to this criticism. I personally hope Simon comes back to the Jaffa Factory :(.

Wednesday Tekkit-Oct. 10, 2012

What up? It's time for a recap of Wednesday's Yogscast Tekkit runs. First is Sips 'N Sjin. The boys have fun transporting stuff in the Ender chest as Sjin prepares the infinite lava machine thingy. Sjin also hears a cat and therefore decides to make really weird noises. All in all, just a normal day for those two :P.

Next Duncan makes some Red and Dark matter the fun way. The fun way being the complicated, hard way (unlike the easy-mode Power-Flower route some others chose to take *cough cough Rythian and Zoey cough cough*). It turns out his little trick of bones and blaze rods really paid off in diamonds as well. It will be fun to see what Duncan makes out of his Dark and Red matter.

Tuesday Tekkit-Oct. 9, 2012

Oh man it's Tuesday and that means some Tuesday Tekkit is about to go down. Predictably, Rythian uploaded the first of the Yogscast Tekkit today. Zoey shows off her mushrooms (they all have names), and Rythian is a tad bit creeped out. Rythian also gets to meet his baby. They make badass Klein Stars and plan to make better armor.

Second and last of the uploads today comes from Lewis, Simon, and Duncan (might as well include Sips and Sjin too). Simon breeds his two pigs thus forming a little babby pig while Lewis and Duncan test out the fully charged nano armor. Lewis has one of his best quotes in this episode as well. The banter between Sips and Simon with the occasional chip-in from Sjin is just fantastic. I wish Simon, Sips, and Sjin would play other games together.

But back to Rythian and Zoey's Tekkit - these past 3 episodes have just been fantastic. The banter/flirting makes for good listening. Rythian getting flustered is just amazingly funny as well. This series is probably my favorite at the moment, although Lewis, Simon, and Duncan's series creeped back up with the 50th episode since it was so fantastic. I don't know how I feel about the scripting to be honest. Some of it turns out great, but there are some parts where I just cringe because I know they're trying too hard (ie-the big giant head). Here's to more Tekkit tomorrow :).

Hello ladies and gents. Twas an interesting day of Tekkit and for the Yogscast family in general. It all starts with Sips N Sjin. Sips actually does all the work while Sjin messes around in preparation for the infinite lava dealie bob thingy. Sips prepares the Red-Power Dojo as they talk of nonsensical things. We have a new resident on the Tekkit server. That's right Nilesy resurrected himself from the dead to extract revenge on Sips and Sjin. He gets start-up help from a friend and starts up his pool company. Nilesy has graduated from a pool-boy to a pool-man! Watch out everybody. (And make sure to watch to the end of the video :D)

However, Simon is in for a big surprise when he arrives though.

So that's it. To be honest, Lewis, Duncan, and Simon's series is getting a bit cheesy. I do hope that at some point Simon becomes less crazy and joins them in the Jaffa Factory. I'm glad there's other series that aren't as scripted or scripted at all because it's a bit more entertaining at times.

A wonderful day of Tekkit. Just wonderful. It starts off with one of the best episodes ever. Rythian and Zoey leave Teep to guard their fortress as they go searching for a jungle. They come upon two new neighbors locked in a four day feud caused by Nilesy. The mic quality may be off, but the two new guys are just fantastic. I hope we get to see more of them.

After the horrible day of no Tekkit, 3 episodes were uploaded today. It starts off with Zoeya and Rythian. Zoey shows off her interior decorating skills and drops the armor. Rythian sighs...a lot. And Gilbert...well he's a bit depressed.

Predictions for the End of the Tekkit World #2

Well since not one member of the Yogscast family uploaded a Tekkit episode today (sad face), I figured now would be as good as time as any to update my predictions.

Scenario 1: Rythian, Zoeya, and Teep take the fight to Sips, Sjin, and Minty. Rythian, having previously talked to Duncan, has Honeydew Inc. on their side. Simon doesn't like the idea of teaming up, so he goes to Pig Island to defend his home turf. Sips decides to take Pig Island from Simon, so a fight to the death occurs. After all the destruction happens to Sips Co., Sjin takes the rampage to Martyn and Toby's camp which gets lost in the madness. Hannah spends her time in the secret underground fortress, but gets discovered by Lewis (who has been cheating by watching her videos :P) and an battle follows. No winners, just destruction.

Scenario 2: Just as Lewis, Simon, and Duncan produce the first jaffa, they are visited by their friendly neighbors Sips, Sjin, and Minty who greet them with a nuke. Rythian, Teep, and Zoeya take advantage of them leaving Sips Co by leaving a nuke there as well. Then in a surprise move, Duncan burns down Hannah's Owl Sanctuary. In retaliation, Hannah blows up Duncan's beloved castle and Strippin's awesome train house. Martyn and Toby remain oblivious to the whole ordeal, and come out on top after all the death and destruction.

Scenario 3: Marytn and Toby decide they are done being pushed around by Duncan and Strippin and they decide to attack. This of course ends with Martyn and Toby's death because they are woefully unprepared. Sips, Sjin, and Minty finally find Rythian, Zoeya, and Teep's fortress and attack. Rythian's power flower is destroyed in the process, and thus making Rythian utterly useless as a mage. Lewis and Duncan take the fight to Sips Co by draining their precious pool and nuke their facilities. Simon meets up with Hannah who enjoy the owls and pigs while death and destruction rains all around them.

Simon eagerly awaits  as Sjin and Sips set up the delicate process of bringing pigs to Pig Island while Lewis and Duncan work on the wall of machines (again). Duncan works to figure out why their coal is vanishing so quickly and makes a remarkable discovery.

It came from Lomadia, aka Hannah, and she is doing amazing things on her island and fortress. She sets up teleport pipes and shows off a bit of redstone that hides her fortress. Only two episodes of Tekkit today and the first on came on Rythian's channel. Zoeya and Rythian name their golems and prepare for emergency surgery after Teep does something wrong. They also chase after dogs in hopes of finding Ghost.

It may be quite telling of what is happening later in the Tekkit series as a whole.

Well Rythian posted a Tekkit episode today. Rythian enlists the help of two iron golems, and Teep seems to be threatened by them. Zoeya makes a snow golem and it does some tree parkouring. Rythian and Teep come across some...interesting spots Zoeya made and goodbyes are said.

Duncan also posted a Tekkit episode on his channel. He made a sorting facility for his castle and improved his door. Strippin appears and shows Duncan some of the basics of Railcraft, which I recommend watching because Railcraft seems to be a bit of a tricky mod.

Duncan uploaded his 50th episode of Tekkit today, and to celebrate this occasion, he made it extra long. (It's only 5 minutes longer than the previous lawlz). He makes a computer to control the door, and I'm not even going to pretend that I understood anything of the program :).

We have a new series uploaded today. Martyn and Toby joined the Yogscast Tekkit world. They panicked more within the first minute than Sips has ever worried in his life. This is going to be an interactive series for Martyn since he has never played Tekkit, so feel free to leave comments on his video to help the poor man out.

Second of all is Sips and Sjin's Tekkit. Sips works on the solar panels and Sjin works on the pump for the pool! Sjin also shoots things with his mining laser. Sips caused the sun to never appear again.

Sunday Tekkit-Sept. 16, 2012

First on the docket is Duncan's Tekkit series. He hurts my head by drinking beer and makes his screen all wonky. Duncan then proceeds to further hurt my head by making a movable door. (PS: this video is very telling of who will be joining the Tekkit server soon)

Shortly after, the main crew uploaded a Tekkit video. It is entitled, "Therapy." Lewis gathers the material for a flying ring, Duncan shows off his sorting machine creations, and Simon continues to act strangely around Lewis and Duncan. This is all cured by Lewis' new form of therapy in explosions.

Last up is Sips and Sjin owning da noobs on their Tekkit. Sips makes some solar panels and Sjin shockingly doesn't eat anything. Sjin also takes out the quarry foundations for their dirt factory.

The one, and ONLY, episode of Tekkit uploaded from the Yogscast family came from Rythain. Rythian, Zoeya, and Teep do a bit of, "industrial espionage," after returning from their Nether adventure.

Predictions for the End of the Tekkit World

Scenario 1:Rythian, with billion stacks of red matter, will immediately go after Sjin. Sjin had previously set up a nuke in Honeydew Inc. and blow that up. This makes Simon very angry. He goes after Sips in vengeance. Sips will set Pig Island on fire, leaving Simon with nothing to do except to kill Sips. Lewis will be trying to mediate the entire ordeal, as Duncan does god knows what to Sips Co.

Scenario 2: Lewis, Simon, and Duncan finally have enough with Sips Co. They go to the real compound and attack Sjin and Sips. Rythian, Zoeya, and Teep will join the battle, leaving nothing but destruction behind.

Scenario 3: Sjin blows up Duncan's castle which infuriates Duncan. Simon and Duncan call for revenge by going to Sips Co. Rythian, who had previously talked to Duncan, joins Honeydew's forces along with Teep and Zoeya. Lewis tries to mediate everything and is reduced to ashes as he is in the center of the nuke blast.

First up is Rythian and Zoeya tackling Tekkit. They go on a Nether adventure, which turns out to be full of fail despite taking many precautions. Teep comes in and saves the day.
